Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 30 April 2026

This policy keeps Measure Copilot focused on authorized measurement quality work and prevents abuse of scanning, uploads, reports, and accounts.

Authorized use only

You may only audit properties that you own, manage, or have explicit permission to assess.

  • Do not scan third-party websites without permission.
  • Do not use reports to impersonate another organization.
  • Do not upload files, exports, or evidence that you are not authorized to process.

No harmful activity

You must not use Measure Copilot to attack, disrupt, probe, overload, or exploit systems.

  • No vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, exploit development, or credential attacks.
  • No attempts to bypass rate limits, authentication, paywalls, bot protections, or access controls.
  • No malware, spam, phishing, scraping at abusive scale, or infrastructure abuse.

No prohibited content

Do not submit or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive.

  • No content that violates privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or contractual rights.
  • No sensitive personal data unless it is necessary, authorized, and appropriate for the audit.
  • No regulated data such as payment card numbers, medical records, government IDs, or passwords.

Responsible scanning limits

Measure Copilot is designed for lightweight measurement audits, not bulk crawling. We may rate-limit, block, or suspend activity that risks degrading websites, networks, or our infrastructure.

Enforcement

We may remove content, disable reports, suspend accounts, block IPs, or contact relevant parties if we believe this policy has been violated.
